Scientist Spotlight

A searchable database to support representation in Princeton’s STEM courses developed through nominations from the Princeton University community

The Spotlight is part of a CST initiative to diversify representation in STEM courses by featuring people of color, gender diversity, LGBTQIA, people with disabilities, and other minorities. The database highlights identities and contributions to STEM fields as well as individual’s personal interests to remind us that science is done by people.   When possible, the spotlights are linked to specific Princeton courses to help both students and faculty alike connect representation to their studies.  Launched in late February 2022, the database is populated through nominations from the Princeton University community and will continue to grow as nominations are submitted.
