Bio/Description

Lucia is a StudioLab Graduate Assistant who is especially fascinated by the relationship between human behavior and the built environment. At Brown University, Lucia worked at the Brown Design Workshop as a shop monitor and graduated with an A.B. in Behavioral Decision Sciences and Architecture. After working as an architectural designer in Boston, Lucia returns to her home state of New Jersey to attend Princeton’s School of Architecture. Some cool projects she’s worked on include designing a device to help visually impaired musicians learn new sheet music through vibrating motors, modeling the muqarnas structures of the Great Mosque of Isfahan, and running experiments using VR headsets to study navigation choices based on architectural features. Her current hobbies include playing volleyball, attending clothing swaps, dabbling in video games, and trying plant based recipes.
