Why did you want to work at StudioLab?
This last summer (2022), I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Princeton's Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education. Through the program, I was introduced to Princeton's maker spaces and learned how to use very hands-on yet exciting tools from 3D printing machines to laser cutters. I want to recreate that excitement I had while learning these tools for others and found StudioLab to be the perfect place to share this enthusiasm. 

What’s the most incredible thing you’ve ever seen?
Arches National Park - with over 2000 natural stone arches, it is definitely one of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. My family loves traveling and we really fell in love with the variety of viewpoints that we were able to visit. The natural process of erosion and extreme temperatures is truly one of the coolest projects that I've ever witnessed in my life and something that I think society takes for granted a lot of times. 

Do you have any heroes or mentors?
Desmond Doss - an American medic who refused to carry weapons since he only wanted to save lives

Where should beginners start at StudioLab?
Come to us! If you don't know what you want to try, the technicians and graduate assistants on site will give you personalized recommendations about where to start but honestly, just toy around with everything. You can literally make anything you want with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of creativity!
