Faculty Teaching Resources

We encourage faculty to discuss their teaching needs and concerns with us one-on-one or in faculty working groups. For those who would like to learn more on their own, the following groups provide online resources that may be useful.

Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative, UBC: http://cwsei.ubc.ca/resources/index.html

McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning, Princeton: http://www.princeton.edu/mcgraw/library/for-faculty/

The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL): http://www.cirtl.net

There are numerous professional organizations with education resources, from online repositories of teaching ideas and tips to education workshops to education initiatives. CST can help foster faculty participation with these organizations, including funding participation in these workshops through our STEM Workshop Travel Award. CST staff members can also research and identify workshops appropriate to your discipline or specific interests.
