Slow + Present

How many doors did you walk through to get here? What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed up with friends? What color socks are you wearing today?

Don’t feel bad if you don’t remember. Details like this slip by us, and needfully so. It would be impossible to remember the tons of information we process every second, let alone all day. But what if we tried? What if we decided to pay attention to our present, not to gain anything but greater thankfulness for living it? Every action, every experience, a new joy. Because it’s there.

Maybe it’s radical; maybe it’s naive; maybe it’s foolish. But it doesn’t hurt to try.

Thinking of this, we’ve designed an experience for you today. We can’t tell you too much about it, but know that you don’t have to worry about making mistakes. You can’t in this space. You’ll have a set amount of time in this room, then a friendly guide will lead you to the second room downstairs, where you’ll also have some time. And this is meant to be done in pairs, because what’s life without good company?
