The CST hosted the annual Women in STEM panel on Monday, September 10, 2018.

The Princeton University Materials Academy Summer Program for high school specifically targets students from under-served communities and young women.

Congratulations to YiYi (Jessica) Li '18, the recipient of the 2018 Gregory T. Pope '80 Prize for science writing. The Pope Prize is awarded annually to a graduating senior for outstanding articles or papers on scientific topics written for a broad audience.

CST was thrilled to host Dr. Geerat Vermeij ’68 on October 18th and 19th. Dr. Vermeij is a Distinguished Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at UC Davis, and studies the evolution of ocean-dwelling organisms that have shells, including mollusks and bivalves.
Sharon De La Cruz, CST's Assistant Director of StudioLab Initiatives and Kelsey R. Ockert, the Technology Librarian at Princeton Public Library, held a “Halloween Light up Cards” workshop, where participants explored the basics of circuit making and paper crafts.
