Rebecca Tang, from the Department of Molecular Biology, is the recipient of the 2016 Pope Prize for Science Writing
Rebecca's application included three submissions, demonstrating her talent and ability for science communication. Her feature article was about Princeton Mathematician Manjul Bhargava. Rebecca did an excellent job capturing his personality and describing his complicated work in mathematics. Rebecca also submitted a compelling news article about the diminishing activity in vaccine development. Her final submission concerned Angelina Jolie and breast cancer.
