"Making Circuits with Everyday Things" Workshop

by capizzi

On Saturday, June 17th, members of the CST engaged a group of talented, young students in a "Making Circuits with Everyday Things" workshop. The students learned about the pentatonic scale and the basics of electricity and circuits. They used conducive paint, paper, and an Arduino to build and "fine tune" a paper piano. In the words of one student: "I used to think this stuff was only for scientists, but now I know it's for everyone!" The event was part of the TED-Ed outreach weekend that welcomed students from around the world to the TED offices in New York City.
