Last week, students once again had the opportunity to journey into the past with Prof. Laure Resplandy (GEO and HMEI) and other Princeton geoscientists during the second iteration of this exciting event. Attendees explored how fossil teeth and bones can provide valuable insights into ancient food webs and environmental conditions. While enjoying lunch, participants tested different hypotheses to reconstruct the diet of the extinct megalodon, learned about cutting-edge research from Princeton’s Department of Geosciences, and even took home their very own shark tooth. We look forward to more exciting collaborations between CST and Geosciences in the future!
