Last week, students had the opportunity to journey into the past with Prof. Laure Resplandy (GEO and HMEI) and other Princeton geoscientists as they explored how fossil teeth and bones can provide valuable insights into ancient food webs and environmental conditions. While enjoying sushi, attendees tested different hypotheses to reconstruct the diet of the extinct megalodon, learned about cutting-edge research from Princeton’s Geosciences Department, and even took home their very own shark tooth. Keep an eye out for more exciting collaborations between CST and Geosciences!
