Thank you to everyone who attended our annual Anthony B. Evnin Lecture  on Nov. 18. Nearly 400 people were in attendance in person in McCosh 50 and online to hear Hideo Mabuchi, a 1992 Princeton Alumnus and Professor of Applied Physics at Stanford University discuss “Making and Knowing.” A physicist by training, Dr. Mabuchi explored the nexus of conventional scientific research in quantum materials, traditional craft (as a dedicated ceramist), aesthetic philosophy and new materialism, and integrative education.  The lecture was followed by a lively Q & A moderated by Craig Arnold, Princeton’s Vice Dean for Innovation and Susan Dod Brown Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. It was a wonderful event, and the CST would like to thank Dr. Evnin for making this outstanding lecture series possible. The video of this lecture can be found here.
