Princeton undergraduate students joined a panel of women faculty from various STEM backgrounds in our annual Women in STEM panel on September 7th. Moderated by CST Assistant Director, Dr. Vivian Feng, the panel aimed to provide a low-barrier environment for undergraduate students, especially freshmen, to meet and network with faculty and their peers to build supportive communities. The panelists this year included: Maria Apostolaki (ECE)Ruth Fong (COS)Aimy Wissa (MAE)Cate Jensen Peña (Neuroscience)Susan Vanderkam (Chemistry), Penelope Georges (CST), and Erin Flowers (CST). The panelists discussed their own academic journeys and gave advice to students, then joined students at tables for more informal discussions and answered student questions over bubble teas and desserts.
