First-year student Norah Smith '26 used the StudioLab lasercutter to create this multilayer lasercut plywood rendition of the renowned Harlem painter Jacob Lawrence’s “The Shoemaker”. Norah fell in love with Lawrence’s work at his “Great Migration” exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art last year.
