Harrison Shapiro '22 named 2022 Pope Prize Winner

Harrison Shapiro (MAE '22) was named the recipient of the 2022 Gregory T. Pope Prize for Science Writing for “How Can America Stop Lawsuits for Derailing Self-Driving Cars? Vaccines and Light Aircraft May Hold the Answer” in recognition of his demonstrated dedication to and passion for science writing. The Gregory T. Pope Prize for Science Writing is granted to an undergraduate student who has shown a keen interest in science and demonstrated an outstanding ability to communicate that enthusiasm to a wide audience through journalism. Congratulations, Harry!
