A searchable database to support representation in Princeton’s STEM courses developed through nominations from the Princeton University community

The CST Spotlight celebrates diversity in STEM by highlighting individuals from various backgrounds, including people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, those with disabilities, and more, reflecting CST's commitment to representation. The spotlight showcases both contributions to STEM and personal identities, to remind us that science is a human endeavor. Linking spotlighted scientists with specific Princeton courses bridges representation with academic content. As nominations from the Princeton University community are received, the database expands, enriching its portrayal of the multifaceted nature of STEM.

Special thanks to the students who envisioned this site: Tori Edington ‘22, Samuel Gariy ‘23, Zephanie Koh ’23, Ambri Ma ’24, and Stephane Sartzetakis ‘22 and to Claire Espinosa '27 for the design of spotlight entries
