The Council on Science and Technology with Prof. Daniel Cohen (MAE) and Odd Salon is pleased to announce the fourth run of a science communication series: Lab Tales.

We invite trainees in science and engineering disciplines (graduate students in their 2nd year of study or beyond and postdoctoral researchers) to apply for an in-person science communication workshop this summer. You’ll train how to turn your own research project into a story.  

This workshop is intended to describe: 

• what stories are and where they come from 
• how to make stories your own and integrate them into your research talks
• how to establish a stage presence and persona tuned to your audience and goals
