We invite you to explore various components of the CST portfolio that celebrate the interesting intersections across STEM, the humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Please visit this page often, as we will continue to rotate various projects, events, and activities that showcase CST! We will also highlight STEM events around campus.
Where Art Meets Science
Teaching a class can feel like a dance, with some of the steps choreographed and others unfolding unexpectedly. CST Associate Director for Science Education, Catherine Riihimaki, brings students from ENV201B, "Fundamentals of Environmental Studies: Population, Land Use, Biodiversity, and Energy," to labs held at the Princeton Art Museum.
In Summer 2015, Jeffrey Gleason ’18 and Catherine Blume ’18 worked with Catherine Riihimaki (CST) to create Mapping Princeton.
This multi-disciplinary project brought together computer science, geography, and graphic design to capture spatially the essence of Princeton University.
